We are working on getting VTEB back up, we had some ISP changes on site that require someone from IT to come out with us - alas they have not been able to send someone for that at all over the last couple weeks. We will hopefully have the station back up today/first thing next week. I'll keep you posted!

CALC CALCASIEU PASS, LA

I confirmed with Larry that the antenna mount was undisturbed when he visited the sight a couple days ago to do some maintenance. So it is unlikely that the antenna mount is moving or was damaged in receipt storm activity. I also confirmed that the equipment changes were routine upgrades that we are doing throughout our network of CORS. The work was done when the site was inspected in the wake of the storms that landed in that area last year. That said we should not be looking at the equipment as the source of movement either.

Larry pointed out that a massive LNG plant that is being built near the site is also dredging for huge tanker access and the construction and dredging are in close proximity to the sentinel. I would think that the entire sentinel could be tilting as a unit due to this construction & dredging project but that is just a guess on my part. C4G has plans to send our survey team to the site to level from eccentric marks on land to the antenna BOM as we are doing at all of our CORS and once that work is done it will be easier to reference the movement to an occupiable mark on the ground to monitor future movement if it continues.

There is a problem at the sentinel that needs to be serviced ASAP or we may not be able to gain access to the equipment on the sentinel. The condition of the landing platform is rusting away and may soon fall into the river making access to the site impossible for C4G with the equipment we have and it will be very dangerous soon if nothing is done to repair the landing platform.

I can be reached any time if you have questions or wish to discuss this topic further.
Best regards, Randy

HAHD WA

The Corps of Engineers work on the tower where we have our relay radios is complete, but the connection is still not working.

HAHD is sending data via satcom in the interim, which is working but is a bit spotty for real-time data.

It may be 1-2 weeks before we can get out there to troubleshoot the radio relays and,or replace them.??

MIAL Alpena, MI

We were having some issues with the MIAL CORS the past few days. It turns out we had some hardware failures (modem and APC) due to the high moisture level in the building dripping down and shorting out the hardware.
Kurt bypassed a few things but we will not get any data until I get the modem replaced. I have to contact the ISP to see if they can get someone out to replace it tomorrow or next week. Shawn

MNAV Apple Valley - MN

I noticed it was spotty in communicating for a few weeks leading to the outage on the 6th. Waiting to hear back from the County, I assume it is a modem or the receiver. Have a good day,

The site is back now. We did a receiver restart on it a few times. It may definitely have more issues.
