TDOT Sites

I would like to inform you of three TDOT CORS (TN11, TN40 and TN28) are currently disconnected and we need some time to reestablish connections. Due to holiday and our training coming in next few weeks, we won't get to repair any of these CORS until the 2nd or 3rd week of December.

BP sites: DSL1, EDOC, PBOC, PUO1

British Petroleum Exploration-Alaska (BPXA) has approved funding for the completion of the project in the fourth quarter of 2016. This cooperative effort by BPXA, FR Bell & Assoc. and Frontier Precision has been a two year undertaking to obtain funding and install the necessary infrastructure. As part of the new GPB VRS network we incorporated two of the four existing CORS in the GPB area. CORS sites DSL1 and EDOC will be included in the seven station network, CORS sites PBOC and PUO1 will be abandoned. It is our intention to resume the data push, to a NOAA\NGS ftp site, from CORS sites DSL1 and EDOC when the Trimble PIVOT VRS software installation is complete.

The building that houses ICT3 apparently was vandalized and the internet is down. I was told it may take up to two weeks to fix. I will let you know as soon as it comes back online.

Unfortunately the computer used for GPS data collection has broken down. We need a new computer and then install the Trimble Gpsnet software on it. It will take us some time. Hope everything returns to normal as soon as possible!
