I had to restart GPSNet late this morning (Wed. Oct 4), and encountered a problem with the Hardware Key detection. I'm waiting to work with our Network staff to reconnect the Key with GPSNet. The License Manager defaults to only one GPS receiver when this situation arises. I'll notify all parties when this issues is resolved.

The FPRN will be down beginning 10/4/2017 @ 5:00 pm Eastern until 10/4/2017 @ 9:00 pm due to communications upgrades at the State Data Center.

MIGD has been down since around 1:30pm yesterday (Oct 2). The guys are replacing the antenna cable to accommodate some construction and renovations that are going on at the site. We hope to have the site back up and running soon.

Tndot has resolved the IT issue. Data is slowly being propagated back out to the FTP server, so it will take a bit of time for all files to be back-filled.

We have not received data from the TNDOT network since 2016-263, Sept 20 at about 0500 UTC
TNDOT group has 39 active sites. Inquiry has been sent out to data provider, we will wait to post an outage message after we get information from Tndot group.

P015 is now currently up to date in the archive, but our remote troubleshooting suggests this site is having intermittent power issues that likely lead to the temporary outage. Consequently more outages might occur until this is visited, which unfortunately could be a few months until staff is in the region.

TXHO (Hondo, TX) last data on 2017-237, Aug 25 at 1758 utc
TXPO (Port Aransas, TX) last data on 2017-237, Aug 25 at 1925 utc
TXRP (Rockport, TX) last data on 2017-238, Aug 26 at 0128 utc
TXVA (Victoria, TX) last data on 2017-238, Aug 26 at 0827 utc
So far, Louisiana (Lasu group) CORS (out of 31 sites total) are still online today, day 240 as of 1359 utc, including the off-shore drill rig station DEV1. NOTE: For Lasu group, there are 3 stations expected offline stations CAMR, HOUM, MCNE.

All, please be aware that the Ohio Department of Transportation's CORS OHFN will be down for a time being. The building that the monument is located on is changing hands from the Department of Transportation to the city of Wauseon, Ohio. The DOT will continue to maintain and service the CORS after the transition. The City will be responsible for the network connection. As soon as the network gets installed and the station comes back on line, I will let you know.

Our network is down. The server that our Trimble Pivot Software is installed, caught a virus. Our IT dept. is working on the issue now. I don't have a timeframe at this time but will try to get this back up and running ASAP.

USACE will employ a phased shutdown of its five remaining DGPS sites. Beginning on May 31, 2017 the Louisville, Kentucky site will be permanently shutdown. On June 30, 2017 three more sites will be permanently shut down; St. Paul, Minnesota, Miller's Ferry, Alabama, and Rock Island, Illinois. The final USACE owned DGPS site, Reedy Point, Delaware, will be permanently shut down on July 31, 2017.

Wanted to let someone know that our Base Station is down and appears it will be for the foreseeable future. I believe talking with a service tech the board on the unit has died and cannot be replaced (discontinued).

AL60 in Montgomery went down last night due to the storm. It blew a transformer to the building. The power company said that they might be able to restore partial power to the building tomorrow, but if not it could take a couple of days to replace the transformer. Unfortunately it will be a loss of data until the power is restore, because the UPS has already been drained.

As of Day 86 (March 27), at 22:00 the data from GTAC is not valid. We have not been on site yet, but we suspect the antenna has been moved. We will know exactly what happened when Rob goes to the site on Monday (April 3).
We have discontinued the data collection at this site and will update you when we know more.

Wednesday, March 22 there is a planned outage of the Spider GPS network. This outage will start at approximately noon and run until approximately 5pm. The outage is needed to update our GPS server; once the update is complete and we are back on line, I will let you know.

Looks like NVPO went dark again this weekend. I'll check the snow level over this next weekend, it's supposed to bring some rain. If so, that might help melt the snow, as it's not that cold now. I'll keep you posted.

The site went down yesterday due to the storm. It has knocked out he power to the entire island. Not sure how long the unit ran on the battery backup, until it completely ran out. Alabama Power is working on the problem. We will send you another email when power has been restored.

NVPO went down last Saturday morning. We've had a very large cold front move in the mountain area and a lot of snow. NVPO is at around 8200 feet elevation. If the backup doesn't work, I won't be able to get up there until after next week. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will be shutting down IACE (Centerville) Wednesday, December 5. The building was sold to a private entity, so we will be moving the site to a ground mount a few miles away. It will be spring before the new site will be operational.
