MIDS
Davison, MIHello and happy holidays!
Just an update that we are fighting a new battle with our IT system security and it seems that MIDS is out due to a hardware upgrade. I am working on the other outages across the state.

WVTA
Terra Alta, WVWe are currently having an outage at WVTA. Called the site and they are having difficulties in area due to ice storm. We will keep you posted. - WVRTN
ARMO
Arkansas DOTATTENTION. We are aware that multiple stations were down over the weekend and this morning. As of right now, everything is back up except ARMO, Monticello, we are currently working with the IT Department both at ARDOT and UAM to get this station back up and the issue resolved.
From Verizon - "working to our network within the next week. As a result, you may experience disruptions. While we will do our best to adhere to this schedule, it may shift out as much as two weeks due to factors outside of our control."
The reason I wanted to point this out, is that it directly affected my phone service yesterday and this morning. If any of you are using Verizon sim cards in your equipment. Just please be mindful of this.

Michigan DOTI am informing the users of the MDOT CORS network that we are missing Rinex data for the large majority of the Lower Peninsula from 12/4/22 at 3AM EST to today (12/07). The line for the affected servers is from stations south of following sites:MIMN, NOR1, MIHL, MIGL, and MITW. Service on a few systems were corrupted. This data from this outage cannot be recovered and not available via NGS since MDOT is the originator of the RINEX files.
Sincerely, Shawn Roy P.S.MLO1
Hilo, HIStation MLO1 is currently inaccessible, as the lava flows from the current Mauna Loa eruption has crossed the sole access road. Station MLO1 is physically in the Mauna Loa Observatory, and is not currently at risk of being affected by lava flows. However, power and communications are likely down. MLO1 cannot be remotely reached at this time.

Hello, I just wanted to let everyone know that we are fighting the new update battle this month. I should have a connection and the data should be available here in the next hour. I know that we are going to be missing data for the SE corner of Michigan again due to licensing issues with server and Leica. Shawn
wvcv
Canaan Valley, WVOur WVCV site is experiencing an outage that started 9/21. After calls with the staff at the host site, the cause of the outage is believed to be linked to the internet network in the area. Previous outages at the site have been linked to internet problems that the host site staff is trying to trouble-shoot but experiencing delays. A plan is currently being formed to get the site back in operation. We will keep you informed when the site is back in operation.

DP1A
Wheaton, ILI wanted to touch base with DP1A. Our contractor was out today to look at it; the issue appears to be with the cable from the antenna to the receiver. Parts for cabling are being ordered. The receiver and antenna are in good shape, just issue with the cable. I'll keep you updated as things progress. Thanks, ~Robb

but the city has decided to take over the building. As of now, we are waiting on them to get
the power turned back on there and once that is done, we will get everything back up and

MTGW
- Glasgow, MTWe finally got out to MTGW and found someone had stole the solar panel and bracket so it will be down for awhile. I will be working on finding the replacement parts today. I will let you know when we get it back up and running. Chris Blumberg
Our IT group preformed some upgrades this weekend and
we are
missing a lot of data from the lower half of Michigan again on Sunday.
As with previous times this data is most likely gone due to the way that the Leica software
stops
the active logging of our receivers with the licensing server during the upgrades.

PAJP
Punxsutawney, PA
The computer died at the site. We are making arrangements to upgrade the station.

CLRE
Saint Clair, MI
I have just been notified by St. Clair County IT that there was an ownership change at the
site. In
this change the new owners have removed the current connection to the station.
We are working to try and contact the new owner and see if we can maintain the site as-is
for the
time being to get the data back online.
Sincerely, Shawn Roy P.S.
OKSY
Sayre, OK
The office that housed OKSY has been moved and network access discontinued much earlier than
expected. We had been working on getting the site OKSY back up and running but have
abandoned that
and have been working to get the new site operational.
In short, we will have to have the site de-commissioned.

The WAAS receiver at Goose Bay faulted early in the day on May 9. We are waiting for a
technician to
get to that site for troubleshooting and repair. The earliest a technician will be on site
is May
13. So it will be at least another day or two before that site is back up and running again.

We took our server out of service as the software we had been running (GPSnet) no longer
supports
modern receivers, such as the Alloy. We have no path forward yet on restoring this service.

Hillsdale, MIThe internet equipment that feeds the Hillsdale GPS tower was struck by lightning on Monday morning about 4 AM. There is a part that the ISP had to order to get us back up and running. So the Hillsdale site will be off-line until internet connectivity can be restored. Hopefully a week to 10 days is all. David Holcomb
MIMU
Munising, MIIt appears that we may have had some type of hardware failure and they are sending me back our receiver. Hopefully, it will be back up next week. Shawn

I am passing along an issue that has been going on since March 25th at 4:00 PM EST. There is
some
type of communication issue with the MDOT servers and getting the data for NGS for them to
pull. If
you are trying to use an application that receives RINEX from NGS you will not find the data
on
their site.

I was informing everyone that I am having some troubles with the MIDT receiver in Detroit,

working on the possible causes now. I am just verifying with the County to make sure that
