I was writing to inform NGS that there has been a device failure at MIMK Muskegon Heights. There was a sevear winter storm and possibly some power surges that has ruined the GRX1200+GNSS unit at the location.
I am working on a replacement and will have someone onsite this week to replace the device.

We can't connect to the station and believe it's a problem with the ethernet cable. We plan to send a spare to a local surveyor for him to install. It's going to take a few days to get it up and running again.

I am writing to inform NGS that the site in MILI - Livonia, MI is suffering from a loss of power again. It appears that there was some theft of the wire supplying the power to the structure. The county is contacting the utility and will be working on a replacement.

We have suspended the data flow for PACS and PAJP and plan to replace those 5700s with Alloys in the next 30 days. PAPC was offline due to a garage fire and will be replaced soon now that remediation efforts are complete. PAJL is a site that is not up and running yet (it is a test site). Not all of these stations are monitored by NGS, but I wanted to give you the full picture. I will be updating our information here and sending out new photo arrays for the new equipment. Please let me know if there is anything that you need from us here at the Photogrammetry and Surveys Section. Thank you!

TXCG Channing Tx, is down due to asbestos abatement, we are planning on have the site back up middle of November 2023
TXHO Hondo Tx, The site is decommissioned as of September 13, 2023.

What originally we thought would be about a month for UMBC base to be down will be at least another two weeks. The reconstruction of the roof has been delayed by weather etc. The roofer did protect the antenna mount from the disturbance of the construction, so when the antenna is reattached everything should resume as before. I will keep you informed of this progress.

MEBA CORS in Bath Maine is down today, the City of Bath is doing an internet upgrade.
MEMA CORS in Machias is currently down, expect it to be back up later this afternoon.
MEDX CORS in Dexter is down, we are looking into it.

TXCG (Channing), Claude (TXCD), and Gruver (TXGU) are down due to ongoing facilities construction for an undetermined period. We will advise when they are back online.

We will be having a network outage tomorrow 23Aug from 1700AZ through the night to replace our core switch. This will impact both the AZGB and AZSV stations. AZGB should backfill the missing data once the connection is reestablished. They hope to bring everything back up by 24Aug 0800 but we will see how that goes.

The data flow has been suspended for PAPC (our CORS in Coudersport, Potter county). The Service Manager informed me that there was a fire in the facility on 6/27 which damaged numerous cables one of which seems to have been our antenna cable and we have lost connection to that antenna (reading zero satellites). We plan to run a new cable in another two weeks. Thank you and have a great 4th of July weekend!

It looks like the outage will be extended some period of time. The power brick for the NetR5 failed when we brought building power back up. I will let you know when I have a replacement.

We are having some building maintenance done this weekend 4/1/2023 that will result in a data outage to AZGB and possibly AZSV.
A 1980s emergency generator transfer switch is being replaced that is supposed to take 4 hours but more likely 24.

Last Friday the site at Bunker for CORS MOBE suffered a windstorm that toppled several trees. One of the trees took out the internet line into the building where my CORS equipment is located. The company has been called and we are waiting for a response from them the come and get the internet connected again. The person on site was hopeful; that either today or tomorrow that this would be fixed.
